54 days to the US Presidential Elections: enter Messrs Bob Woodward and Michael Cohen

 There comes a time in the affairs of men when man must take stock of what’s happening. It’s time for a rethink about things that we simply can’t afford to ignore as part of the overall picture; we cannot turn a blind eye or escape unscathed from the fallout, as the cumulative impact of the relentless attacks on Trump’s integrity start to make some cracks and dents in Trump’s breastplate, the fortification walls that protect his Jerusalem; but Trump could yet remain unassailable and emerge triumphant, from the Evangelical Christian point of view provided he takes or has taken Paul’s advice which is to “ Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”

Hopefully, it’s not another instance of Et tu Brute? Then die Caesar –

And, hopefully, just now the devil  that screws the last nail in the coffin is not Trump’s former fixer, the treacherous Michael Cohen of whom Trump could righteously regret, “How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is to have a thankless child!” – for indeed in some respects, when it came to confidence, Michael Cohen was like a trusted son to Trump, the repository of Trump’s privacy and privy to many of his confided secrets. But Michael Cohen’s disloyalty and betrayal is not going to terminate President Trump’s life or his presidency and there’s going to be no funeral oration that goes (with Trump as Caesar and Michael Cohen as Brutus):

History today:  Donald J Trump the born-again redeemer, the architect of Make America Great Again being brought to his knees by the invisible enemy this time via that courteous Bob Woodward interview in which the Potus was quite expansive and just kept on talking and talking, having a good time, having ignored the advisers who cautioned him about talking to an investigative reporter of Bob Woodward’s stature…

At the time of the interview, relatively speaking even Dr Fauci & the scientific community of experts were taking the matter lightly….

But last night, the vengeful/ revengeful Michael Cohen was extra bad, being interviewed by the always suave Don Lemon on CNN, egging him on, asking him leading questions...

The wounded lion, a former fixer for Trump and now Trump’s archenemy was at his savage best, I swear I have never heard anything like it – it was  his payback time and he did not spare President Trump  his former boss now in the wounded lion's realm, like the title of a Dostoevsky novel, the realm of the abandoned, the forsaken, and accursed.
