Tomorrow night’s the night, the final Trump-Biden showdown/debate/microphone duel, exchange of insults before the American people pass their historic 3rd of November judgement (the verdict)
“Now I'm standing here like some
Turned down serenading fool
Hearing strange words stutter from the mixed-up mind of you”
(Jimi Hendrix: Wait until tomorrow)
Sounds like some old Romeo geezer called Sleepy Joe, Sloop Joe B tomorrow night, when all roads lead to Rome where all that the monomaniacal former vice president Joseph Biden wants to talk about is the pandemic. Mister Biden wants to flog that dead horse once again, and to talk about the miracles he would have performed but hasn’t performed the past 47 years, but says he'll do better than Obama if he is given an opportunity to serve as US President for the next four years.
The topics to be covered in the next presidential debate
will probably include leadership, fighting the invisible enemy, race issues in
the United States, National Security, the American Family, and hopefully, Foreign
Policy about which Mr Biden has an article in the March/ April issue of Foreign Affairs, some
timely propaganda campaigning from him, a piece that could help save his miserable democrat e$$, even at this late moment :
Why America Must Lead Again: Rescuing U.S. Foreign Policy After Trump, By Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
Ignore the headline warning signal and the first three paragraphs
in today’s DN editorial could serve as an excellent illustration of what’s
known as the periodic sentence, of the type that goes, “Wole Soyinka and
Toyin Falola will be read long after Dante and Shakespeare are forgotten – but not
before!”
Just as the preamble to Brutus’ funeral oration, it’s a matter
of “Be patient till the last.”
The idea is that you never get to the fullness of truth
unless you read on, to the very last syllable of the aforementioned DN
editorial which begins,
“Joe Biden is old. He mixes things up and does not
finish his sentences. He has no brilliant vision for the future.
Let it go. But is his plan really to make the United
States a socialist country if he wins? Is Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala
Harris a communist? Donald Trump is trying to imagine this for the Americans
before the election on November 3.
Yet the White House's accusations are not being well
received. Even voters who sympathize with Trump have a hard time seeing the
revolutionary in Biden. Neither planned economy nor the Gulag Archipelago can be associated with the Democrat’s leader. More people are probably worried
that the 77-year-old will suffer from dementia than that Venezuela or Cuba
would be the next station.”
The editorial then goes on to exonerate Sleepy Joe, to some
extent liberate the reader from any fear or fears that Mister Biden could in
any shape or form pose that most unlikely
threat, that even in the current mental,
physical and ideological shape or state of mind he’s in he could in any way pose or
represent a communist threat to the great American nation, that he’s quite
incapable of that even if according to Trumpist rumours now gaining unbelievable traction, "Joe Biden’s son Hunter is on the payroll of Communist China!"
The United States being a God-oriented country, offhand, I’d say that the candidate that stands closest to the
ideals in Dylan’s Gotta Serve Somebody should be elected the next
president of the United States, by which token Messrs Biden-Harris are disqualified
by running on the abortion ticket, when they know the statistical horror show known as the abortion statistics in the United States (of course the unborn babies can't vote for them, nor are we to suppose that the " born-again" Christians could do so with anything like a clean conscience.
It’s now a mere 13 days to the mother of all elections and all some of us have to go by are the running commentaries in RealClearPolitics, in Breitbart, in Frontpage Magazine, in the pro-Trump media, in the Trump support groups, in the Political Insider, on Feedspot Today, and of course the latest opinion polls which are neither scientific nor reliable. There are also the many awesome prophecies, that Trump is “God’s Trumpet” and that
is
going to win this mother of all presidential elections.”
The saying is that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
And those who live in e.g. The White House?
N.B. "white lies" are supposedly the kinds of lies that white people tell...
Those who like
to gamble and take risks could also put their big money where their mouth is,
HERE
(In the meantime, Biden is spending big-time, sponsoring all kinds of so-called minority group leaders, some of whom are taking him for a ride promising to deliver the Black vote, ("trust me boss") the Hispanic vote, the Evangelical vote, the Republicans-for-Joe-Biden & Kamala Harris vote, and other votes that they know that they can promise but are in no position to guarantee or deliver; but they have no qualms about taking Biden's campaign money and will have no qualms about shrugging their shoulders on the morning of November 4th and saying, "We did all we could, boss", and of course will not offer to refund any of the campaign money which had long since gone down the drain.
Biden is not holding any big campaign rallies, so, one can only wonder where all the money in his campaign war chest is going.
Since Biden knows that if he wins he does not intend to serve in the White House for a full four-year presidential term, in essence, the election is really a contest between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris
