It’s 7 Days to the 3rd of November…

It’s 7 Days to the 3rd of November, after which this latest US Elections will be added to the entries under The 3rd of November in History

Nowadays, people are dying of all sorts of causes and being reported to have died as victims of the Coronavirus. It’s so manifestly unfair that President Trump is being blamed ad nauseam by Joe Biden and his side-kick Kamala (rhymes with Obama). It’s a shame the way they keep on chanting their unholy COVID-!9 mantra. You would think that the very next step they will be calling for the President’s impeachment for un-American activities such as not mishandling and properly manhandling the invisible enemy.

Right now, somewhere in America, in some important swing state, I expect Brer Trump to be jazzing up his base and wooing the undecided with some kind of St. Crispin's Day Speech

As the Biden-Kamala duo make their pitch to the Evangelicals, you would have thought that instead of blaming Trump they would start their meetings with a “Let us pray” and then quote that portion of scripture which says that “All sickness is of the devil! If only some apostle, pastor, cardinal, bishop, layman or priest could start performing miracles such as healing the sick and raising the dead, then the unbelievers would start flocking to the churches in a new wave revival. They would be holding prayer camp meetings with or without masks, and in Joe Biden‘s camp, he would be leading the Gospel Choir in their soulful rendition of “We Shall Overcome!

Somewhere here the overly pessimistic, the optimistic / and those expecting miracles are warned, No, Really -- Don't Pay Attention to Early Voting Data

Here's a surprising second opinion on who stands to benefit most by early voting

At this point it’s being reported that 60 million Americans have already voted. They are not taking any chances and they’re taking nothing as for-granted, they think that it’s important to vote and they want their ballots to be counted. For all they know, there could be rioting and looting on election day or a few days before THE DAY, a new tidal wave, a great tsunami of the Invisible enemy could be let loose and on the rampage, so they have taken Benjamin Franklin’s motto to heart, a motto that every Romeo knows:

Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today!

“Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take 'til he knows

That too many people have died?”

The tragic news is that the coronavirus death toll in the US is now 226,534 souls gone to eternity and in that number, there could be some good citizens who may have lived up to their civic responsibilities, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven, done their duty, at least satisfied their conscience, voted for Trump or for Biden and died soon after they voted, R.I.P...

American Kids will be asking their mothers and fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers, uncles and aunts these vital questions:

Where were you on the 3rd of November, 2020?

Who did you vote for, Trump or Biden?”

Then, come hear all kinds of answers, some boastful, some Victor Borge punctuation, of course, many exaggerations – like some of our Africans who served in Europe and other cold places during the Second World War and lived to tell the tale, that it was so beastly cold that if you spat, before your jet of spit hit the ground it had already turned into an icicle….

This one was about Nixon:

“He seems to tell us lies

And still we will believe him,

Then together he will lead us

Into darkness, my friends.” (Let it all fall down)

Now, you’ve got to give it to Trump that he has not started any foreign wars. That alone is deserving of the Nobel Prize for Peace, the same one that was awarded his predecessor Barack Obama. We all wish Commander-in-Chief Donald J Trump and Mike Pence his second-in-command absolute success in the battle against the invisible enemy, just as we wish the good guys all success in the global war against terror.

And the soldiers who are dead and gone

If only we could bring back one”
